Role Overview:As an English Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), fostering a deep appreciation for Teaching English. You will deliver high-quality lessons, drive student engagement, and support pupils in achieving excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the UK curriculum.Inspire a love for English through creative and innovative teaching strategies.Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to help them achieve their full potential.Support and challenge students of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs.Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and events.Maintain a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment.Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a cohesive curriculum.
